Weatherford ISD's Elementary School Supply Lists are now available.

The BOGO book fair will be held in the library on May 5th-9th and will be open daily from 7:30 AM-4:30 PM. Come stock up for summer reading!

Kindergarten registration for the 2014-2015 school year will be held on April 17th! If you have a child entering kindergarten or know someone who has a child entering kindergarten, please do not wait until the fall to register. Registration is available at Crockett from 9:00-11:00 AM and 6:00-7:30 PM. Parents/Guardians need to bring the child's birth certificate, immunization record, proof of residency, and social security card.

The 6th grade students honored the Chinese New Year with a parade through the school. Each element in the parade, from the dragons, to the lion costumes, to the decorations on the drums were handmade by the 6th graders themselves, They worked very hard and were so excited to show-off for the students! The Weatherford High School PTSA is hosting the 2nd Annual Kanga Fun Run and invites your campus to participate. Please click on the title above to be directed to the official flyer for the event.

Crockett held their annual spelling bee on Friday January 10th. Former WISD superintendent Dr. Deborah Cron moderated the event. First place was awarded to Jenna Cordell (6th grade), placing second was Caitlin Corbin (6th grade), and third place was awarded to Kenzie Handley (5th grade). Jenna will represent Crockett Elementary in the Area Spelling Bee, which includes all schools in Parker County, on Friday February 7th at the Ninth Grade Center. Crockett would like to congratulate all the students who participated in this event.

Winners of the National Geographic Bee at Crockett Elementary included Dylan Jones 1st place, Christina Long 2nd place, and Morgan Anderson 3rd place. Dylan will go on to compete in the District's Geography Bee in May. He also has the opportunity to take a written exam that will be sent in to the National Geographic Bee to see if he qualifies for the national competition. Crockett congratulates all the students who participated in the Geography Bee.

Crockett Elementary 1st grader Allie Harrison placed 4th out of 43 entries in the 5-6 year old age division at the Star-Telegram Stock Show Art Contest on Saturday January 4th, 2014 with her drawing titled "Barnyard Friends." Her art will be displayed in the Amon G. Carter Jr. Exhibits Hall throughout the duration of the stock show Jan. 17- Feb. 8. The judges said they loved the happy faces on her animals and her cartoonist style of drawing. Crockett is very proud of Allie.
