Kindergarten Roundup - March 6, 2024

Begin your child's love of learning in a Weatherford ISD elementary school!

All WISD elementary campuses will hold Kindergarten Roundup events on Wednesday, March 6 (9:00-11:00 a.m. and 5:30-7:00 p.m.). Kindergarten Roundup provides parents their first opportunity to enroll children in Weatherford ISD’s Kindergarten program. This event is for students that will enter Kindergarten in 2024-2025 and their families. Families can meet the staff at their campus, get additional information on enrollment, ask questions and receive a WHS Class of 2037 t-shirt sponsored by Texas Bank!

January is School Board Recognition Month

Join us in expressing our sincere thanks to the Weatherford ISD Board of Trustees for their service and dedication to our students, staff, and community. School Board members are volunteers who donate countless hours of their time each month to keep their commitment to today’s students. Trustees are elected by our community, receive no pay for their work, and the time spent preparing for and attending school board meetings represents just a small fraction of the hours they devote to Weatherford ISD. Board members are required to attend seminars and training sessions to keep up with the latest changes in state and federal regulations and to learn trends in educational leadership. They are also involved in our community and spend many hours in our schools and at extracurricular events.

Please join us in honoring:
Mike Guest, Board President
Brian Catlin, Board Vice President
Adam Feriend, Board Secretary
Jeff Ford, Board Member
Greg Shaw, Board Member
Toby Taylor, Board Member
Wally Wallace, Board Member
