The Parker County Hospital Outreach Program will be offering the Quadrivalent Flu injection and FLUMIST to Weatherford ISD students with no deductibles or out-of-pocket expenses.
The "Say Shoo To The Flu" Clinic is voluntary. Although private insurance companies will be billed, students with no insurance will be provided their flu vaccine at no cost.

For several years now, the Parker County Hospital District has provided exceptional services for Weatherford ISD students and staff members at little or no cost.

Parents wishing to have their children vaccinated will need to complete the consent form that is listed below and then bring it with them to one of the scheduled clinics within the District. Also, parents do not have to be at the school for the student to have their vaccine as long as the permit is completed and returned to the school nurse prior to the clinic.

Student clinics begin at 7:30 a.m. and will last until the final student has been seen.

If a parent wishes to be present at the time of the vaccination of their child, they need to be there at the beginning of the clinic.

The Weatherford Independent School District is excited to announce an online student registration/data validation system for the upcoming school year, powered by InfoSnap. The system is a secure and green process, which allows the District to verify all student demographic, emergency and medical information for your child prior to the start of the new school year.
The system will also allow you to electronically sign the annual permission forms for school district policies. In short, this online process replaces all the hard copy student registration and permission forms that your child brings home on the first day of school.

When it is time to fill out the online form, you will receive a letter from the Weatherford Independent School District with instructions on how to access the system for your student. The letter will contain a link/instructions and a secure “snapcode” that links directly to your student’s information. You will create an account that you will use each year for this process and submit a form for each student in your family. To make the process easier for families with multiple students, you will have the option to copy all generic family information to all other students in your family.

We would appreciate all families to take action and complete these forms as soon as possible after receiving the letter/email. Your student’s registration will not be complete until the forms have been submitted. If you do not have access to the Internet, contact your child’s school and you can make an appointment to use a school computer to complete the process.

Weatherford ISD’s Healthy Kids summer lunch program kicks off on Monday, June 9th. Thru the program, free lunches will be available to all area children who are 18 years old and younger. The program runs through August 8th.

On May 22, from 4:00 until 5:00 PM, the District Education Improvement Council (DEIC) will be meeting at the Bowie Learning Center located at 900 N. Elm Street in Weatherford. The meeting will take place in the large meeting room. The DEIC is a group of stakeholders made up of parents, community members, teachers, and administrators who meet throughout the school year to receive information and provide input regarding a variety of district initiatives. Please see the attached letter for more information.

Crockett Elementary students were on hand at Thursday's WISD Board meeting to show Board members how to use a new software program called 'Symphony Math.'
