Welcome to Dyslexia

Hello!

My name is Tiffany Jones. I am so excited to be one of the dyslexia therapists here at David Crockett Elementary.

I started teaching in Weatherford ISD in 2011. I taught second and third grade as well as kindergarten in another district. I am from West Texas and graduated from Angelo State University.  My husband and I have 3 girls.  Julia, Avery, and Chloe.  All three of our girls are dyslexic and have had three very different journeys with dyslexia as well as me and my husband. We did not know that we were dyslexic until our children were identified but it definitely helped us to understand our struggles as students and even now as adults.

Dyslexia is my passion! I want all students to know that they are cared for and that I value their ideas and thoughts.  We all have unique talents and strengths!
