Welcome to Dyslexia

Hello!

My name is Tiffany Jones, and I am excited to be one of the Dyslexia Therapists at David Crockett Elementary School! I am a Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT) and look forward to another wonderful school year, working with you and your child to help them succeed.

I love being a part of Weatherford ISD. I previously taught kindergarten, second, and third grade. In 2018, I began working as a dyslexia therapist, and I have been honored to support students with dyslexia ever since. I am from West Texas and graduated from Angelo State University. My husband and I have three girls. All three of our girls are dyslexic and have had three very different journeys with dyslexia. My personal experience, as well as being a parent of children with dyslexia, has given me a unique understanding of the challenges students with dyslexia may face.

Dyslexia is my passion! I want all students to know that they are cared for, and that I value their ideas and thoughts. I want to help students recognize their strengths, build confidence, and develop the skills they need to become successful readers and learners. We ALL have unique talents and strengths!
