Check out all of the fun things happening at Crockett in the month of November!

The holiday season is quickly approaching! Crockett teachers and staff support Manna and look forward to helping with the Angel Tree again this year. If you are in need of holiday help, we encourage you to get in contact with the great team who handles the Santa's Helpers program at Manna.

Wishing all of our Crockett Roos a a very happy holiday season!

Our fundraising products from FundRally Fundraising will be delivered to the school on Thursday, October 20th and MUST be picked up that day. We do not have freezer space to store any items not picked up.

Pick up products in the Gym from 2:00-6:00 p.m. Please make arrangements to help your students get their orders home. If you have sold more than 15 items, you might want to bring a dolly or wagon to help transport the boxes to your vehicle. All products will be packaged by student to make pick-up very easy.

5th Grade Parents/Guardians - Please join us for a Camp Grady Spruce Meeting on Friday, October 14th at 4:30 p.m. in the Library to learn more about this amazing educational opportunity for your children!

Crockett PTA will be hosting its annual Pumpkin Painting Party on Friday, October 14th from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the Cafeteria!  Bring your family and paint a free pumpkin with your friends!

Friday, October 28th is Crockett's annual "Boo Roo" Character Day! This week will be fun-filled while focusing on the importance of making healthy choices! In preparation for your child's costume, please keep the following guidelines in mind:

- Costumes must be appropriate and masks are not to be worn.
- No pretend “prop” weapons such as water pistols, knives, swords, fake blood or gore.
- No bare midriffs or revealing clothing.
- Any costumes that will disrupt the routine of the day (including PE) will not be allowed; appropriate shoes must be worn.
- Administration has the final say on all costumes.

Crockett's Book Fair is coming up October 24-28! Students may bring monetary donations to the Library for the All for Books grade level competition from NOW until October 28th. With your help, all of the money collected will go towards purchasing books for our Crockett Roos in need. The grade level that raises the most money will be rewarded with a special prize!

6th Grade Hunger Games Book Club begins Monday, September 26th and will be held in the Library each Monday and Wednesday during lunch (12:30-1:00). Students who choose to join will be expected to adhere to the reading schedule, and we will follow up with group discussion and activities during our meetings. At the conclusion of our club, a Hunger Games Watch Party will be held in the Library on Thursday, November 3rd from 3:45 p.m. - 6:15 p.m.
