Mrs. Nichols
Welcome to fourth grade! My name is Sarah Nichols and I will be teaching ELAR at Crockett. This is the start of my 16th year teaching. This is by far my favorite grade to work with and to be able to teach your students. I was born in a small farm town outside of Chicago, IL but grew up most of my life in Orange County, California, which is where my parents and brother and his family are. I graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor's in Liberal Studies. I also have a Masters in Elementary Education and a second Masters in Administration. I am also in the middle of being certified to become a principal.
I moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where I met my husband Brandon, who I have been married to for almost 14 years. Brandon works on F-35 airplanes for Lockheed Martin, in the avionics part of the company. We have two children, Raegan who is 12, and in 7th grade and Blake, who is 9, and in 4th grade. We moved to Texas, in July of 2016, and absolutely love it here!
I've known I've wanted to be a teacher after having the best 3rd grade teacher, so I have known teaching was for me since I was 9 years old.
