Mrs. Nichols

Welcome to fourth grade! My name is Sarah Nichols and I will be teaching ELAR at Crockett. This is the start of my 17th year teaching. This is by far my favorite grade to work with and to be able to teach your students.  I was born in a small farm town outside of Chicago, IL but grew up most of my life in Orange County, California, which is where my parents and brother and his family are. I graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor's in Liberal Studies. I also have a Masters in Elementary Education and a second Masters in Administration.

I  moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where I met my husband Brandon, who I have been married to for almost 15 years. Brandon works on F-35 airplanes for Lockheed Martin, in the avionics part of the company. We have two children, Raegan who is 13, and in 8th grade and Blake, who is 10, and in 5th grade at Mary Martin Elementary. We moved to Texas, in July of 2016, and absolutely love it here!
I've known I've wanted to be a teacher after having the best 3rd grade teacher, so I have known teaching was for me since I was 9 years old.
