Getting Started with SSO, Canvas, and Google

Students will use Canvas for their VLA coursework.

Students will need to logon to the SSO portal to access district programs including Canvas.

Students can get to the SSO portal by using this link or by accessing the district’s main website and selecting students from the top tab selection.  https://sso.weatherfordisd.com/SSO/Portal

Student’s user id is their first.last name.  For instance, karen.redmon

Their password is roosidnumber.  For instance, roos912345

Students can also get to Canvas by using this link: https://wisd.instructure.com/login/ldap

In order to access items that are located on Google Drive, students MUST be logged into their Google account.  To do this, go to google.com and sign in on the top right-hand corner.

Students will use their Weatherford ISD email which can be found on Skyward. It is their first.lastname@weatherfordisd.net

For example, redmon@weatherfordisd.net

Their password is roosidnumber just like they would use to access the SSO portal.  For example, roos912345

This is the same way students can access assigned Youtube videos.
