About Me

Hello and Welcome! 

 

My name is Haleigh Medrano and I am so excited to be part of the Crockett family! I am new to WISD this year; entering my 5th year of teaching. I graduated from Weatherford High School, so I feel very blessed to be back in the area. It feels a little like coming home. 

 

I received my B.A. in Mass Communication from Midwestern State University. After working in public relations and in the nonprofit sector, I went back and earned my teaching certificate to make a total career change. It's never too late to achieve your goals! 

 

My husband and I have two kids. They keep us busy, but spending quality time together is our favorite thing to do. 

 

Outside of school, you can probably find me drinking coffee in local spots (if you have any recommendations, send them my way...), hanging out at a park playing with my kiddos, or at home working on various art projects and crafts. I also like to cook, travel, and read, although I've been really into audiobooks lately, too!
