Our Librarian
My name is Shaye Miller and I absolutely love being the librarian at Crockett Elementary. I began teaching Kindergarten in 1999 and over the last 25 years I have taught courses up through college level. I completed a BA in music in 1996 at Abilene Christian University, teacher certification at Tarleton State University, a Masters of Library Science at Texas Woman’s University, and a Masters of Ed. in Educational Technology at Chadron State. I've taught in Weatherford ISD since 2022 (at both Curtis and Crockett Elementary). My husband, Lee, and I have two daughters and three sons and the sweetest little chihuahua named Cocoa. Our oldest is a psychology major at Tarleton, two are in high school, one is at Hall MS, and our youngest is in 5th grade at Crockett. I am looking forward to a GREAT year in Weatherford ISD and I am eager to collaborate with our entire learning community!
