Welcome to Third Grade

Welcome to third grade! My name is Katie Sills. I am super excited to be teaching your kiddos this year! I'm a Weatherford Roo all the way! I started at Crockett in 6th grade, then moved to Tison, the Ninth Grade Center, and graduated at the high school in 2012. I was a Blue Belle all four years of high school and part of Student Council. I graduated from Tarleton State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. I decided to go back to school a few years later to get my teaching certificate. I was a Special Ed aide in Aledo for a year. I taught Pre-K for 2 years in Brock at a child care center. This is my first year teaching in a school district! I've been married for 5 years. We have two children, Jace and Charlee. We also have a Mini Australian Shepard and a Border Collie. As a family, we love going to the lake and traveling. We're always doing something outside :) We're going to have a great year of learning and having fun!
