Welcome

Hello!
My name is Isabella Newland. I graduated in May 2021 from Tarleton State University with my Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Early Childhood through 6th grade. I grew up in Fort Worth, TX where I went to school in the White Settlement ISD. I have worked with children since I graduated high school, which included working in preschool learning centers.
My family has always been a big part of my life. They have supported me in everything that I do and pushed me to be the person I am today. I love being active by playing golf, fishing, and traveling. Winter is my favorite season, from seeing all the Christmas lights to it being hockey season #GoStars.
I enjoy being the reason kids learn but have fun learning. Being able to watch students grow and enjoy learning is my motivation.
My email is the best way to communicate with me at [email protected]
I believe in teaching different styles of learning.
Every student learns differently, so as a teacher I will ensure I teach in every style of learning that will benefit my students. Whether the students are kinesthetic, visual, or auditory learners, my teaching will make sure I teach to help all those different types of learning.

I believe learning can occur when students are having fun.
Students have the ability the learn while also having fun which improves a classroom setting. Students sometimes don’t even realize how much they are learning when they are having fun. As a teacher, to ensure students are having fun, I will implement centers and be engaged in my classroom.

I believe education is one of the most valuable tools in life.
Without education, it will be hard to succeed in life. Being a teacher, I will make sure all my students have the best knowledge they can to be able to succeed in life and be ready for the next grade level.

I believe in building relationships with your students.
Having a good relationship with your students allows them to feel safe and loved in your classroom. When your students feel safe and loved in a classroom, they will be in the right emotional state to be able and desire to learn.

I believe in having high expectations for students.
Having high expectations for my students will allow my students to know that they are capable of achieving every goal I set with them.  Doing this will allow the students to know we are a team and together we will achieve those expectations.
